THE BRIEF

The US Open tennis championship and Mercedes-Benz are respectively the pinnacle of tennis and automotive performance. MB USA’s longstanding association with the US Open tournament is testament to a mutual respect.

Mercedes-Benz was looking for a program to create buzz and distribute an allotment of tickets to the event – premium tickets usually out of reach for a tennis enthusiast.

WHAT WE DID

Similar to a Mercedes-Benz, tennis is an art form. I helped concept and design an experience that highlighted the grace, elegance, and power of the game in an unconventional way. As part of the connection process for entering the sweepstakes, visitor’s watched in awe as brand ambassador, and 5-time US Open champion Roger Federer turned their facebook cover photos into art. Using his racket, tennis balls, and some paint, visitors were treated to a bit of fun that they could then share with their friends and family.
